The GERICKE GMS Multiflux® batch mixer achieves a maximum degree of homogeneity and preserves high-quality ingredients during the mixing process. When fragile products, minor ingredients or the highest hygienic requirements are part of your process, GMS Multiflux®is the answer.

Gericke Multiflux® GMS mixers form a mechanical fluidised bed with two horizontally arranged superimposed mixing tools. That way the mixing process is carried out very quickly and gently and with high quality results. Gericke Multiflux® mixers can produce up to 12 mixing cycles per hour. The Gericke GMS mixers are available in sizes of 100 to 4000 litres (useable volume) per batch. Designed with cantilevered or extractable drives they allow for easy and quick cleaning.

Compared to other mixing systems the GMS C also stands out due to its low height. Whenever space is at a premium GMS C mixers offer more possibilities for the complete application design.

Principle of operation

The horizontal double rotor system produces different product streams which are intermingled with each other (like when shuffling playing cards). 

The meshing of both product streams create a fluidized bed (therefore the name Multiflux® mixer). In this zone particles exchange their position quickly with very small energy introduction. This gives the short mixing time. 

Fluids are sprayed on the fluidized zone where the contact with paddles and other metal parts can be minimized.
