Calibration of frozen products.

A Swiss manufacturer of semi-products for the food and bakery industry uses the Gericke Nibbler to calibrate (reduce the size) of frozen fruits.

The frozen products are reduced to an exact size for further processing in the food industry to ensure consistent quality in the final product.

Frozen products like fruits, berries and vegetables get calibrated in the Nibbler.

The Gericke Nibbler is the opposite of the disperse used once, it has no risk of knife damage and has low noise emissions. The Nibbler doesn’t need previous thawing of the frozen products, and ensures therefore the quality and the durability of the semi-products.

Depending on the product requirements, the frozen products are processed to different sizes. The large range of sieve inserts makes the plant operator flexible.
